www.nela.org - The National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) is an organization for plaintiff’s employment lawyers. It provides seminars and materials as well as supporting briefs in important cases.

9 to 5 - National Association of Working Women is a grassroots membership organization that strengthens women's ability to work for economic justice.

www.workplacefairness.org - Headquartered in San Francisco, Workplace Fairness is a not for profit organization devoted to the dissemination of information on employee rights and new legislation.

California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) - DFEH's statutory mandate is to protect the people of California from discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations.

California Department of Motor Vehicle - Instructions on obtaining Driver's License

California Department of Occupational Safety and Health - Cal-OSHA website to report a workplace accident, or to file a complain.

California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) - The DLSE provides a wide variety of services to the public, from wage claims adjudication and discrimination complaint investigations to enforcement of California's labor laws and Industrial Welfare Commission orders.

California Employment Development Department - EDD

Department of Labor - The United States Department of Labor is charged with investigating charges of wage violations.

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission - The United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is charged with the investigation of charges of discrimination in employment.

National Labor Relations Board - The NLRB, investigates and remedies unfair labor practices by employers and unions, hold elections for union representation.
